Blasia

The Place where Blasians Live...

What is your family like describe them tell how much you care for them and vice versa. Describe each person in your family(ex. Mom, Dad, sister, brother.)

Father-My fathers name is Shareff and he is very hard tough man. He doesn't like any nonsense and will not take any lip. He usually speaks to us in Urdu and nothing else. I know he can speak english. He is a Engineer and wants to have the best education and no C's on our report cards or we're grounded. Sometimes he makes me soo mad like telling me not to wear this or watch that or stay out to late but i love him just the same.

Mother-My mothers name is Monica. She is multi-racial to She is Half Black and Half Mexican. She is very fun and exciting She is the opposite of my father. She loves to dance and sing. She is very big on culture, so she usually only speaks spanish to us sometimes english. She is like my best friend.

Noureen- She is my older sister, she is just like me in every way. We usually hang out when she is home for college. She loves to laugh and watch soap operas. She is always there for me when i'm down, i don't know what i would do without my sister.

Omar-He is my older brother. He is going to Boston University next fall. And He is a pain in the...you know. He is very sneaky and tricky. He usually plays pranks on me and only me. He is sometimes i think very mean, but protects his family and messes anyone who messes with us. Even though he is sometimes an annoyance he is still my big brother.

Sami-He is my litlle brother. He is 14, and he loves to play video games and go on the compute. He is a tech wiz. He loves to help others with their computer problems, and loves to show of. He is my cute, smart little brother.

Tamara- She is my cute little sister. She is 4 and she is such a little sweetheart. I call her sunshine as she always brightens up my day. She thinks of me as her role model. Right now i'm teaching her the abcs in spanish and english.

Grandmother-She is the most outspoken one of the family very caring and thats a bad thing to her she cares for everyone and in the end they use her. She says I'm stubborn but she is the most stubborn out of everyone not listening to any other side of the story. She claims that she is black although she is blasian and doesnt really accept it unless it is brought up

Mother-She loves me to death and I'm much like her with the stubborness and other things. She tends to not think things through although she tells me to do stuff like that. She is very much like a asian mom who talks about her babies accomplishments. She is very submissive to her man that I dont like and I will cut him up real quick.

Father-The steriotypical father he is also blasian although he acts like the black father he left and his ass isnt important anymore. He goes by Ilo or elo one of those.

Thats my family and most likely I'm related to you because I have a lot of relatives!

Papawari - My grandpa. Anything less than an A minus for me and no food for a week. He had really high expectations for me, and taught me much about disciplining myself "because the only thing that can tame a wild, ferocious thrist for knowledge is another wild beast pretending to be domestic...and that is the easier method." He never ceased to throw these wild philosophies at me. He loved me, but I was a rough quit-being-a-weakling, drop-and-give-me-twenty kind of love.

Stepfather - Good ol' fashioned country boy. Truck driver. LOVES watching wrestling and you can NOT convince him that it's even the slightest bit fake. Really funny guy who can't sit still. He nicknamed me Broomstick cuz I'm so tall. Tis another thing I like about him, he usually gives guys nicknames mainly because he sucks with remembering names. (Like myself lol).

Momz - Of course she loves me and the rest of my 50 million siblings very much. Don't be surprised if I invite you to my house and she calls you "baby" and other cute words and offers you a cup of warm milk and asks if you'd like a peanut butter sandwich with or without the crust. She just really loves kids. A very robust woman with a powerful voice. Taught me everything I know about how to fold clothes and cook: two things I feel every male should have burned into their "loving male role model" column.

The Kids - There are 10 of us in all; I'm number 5. Brady Bunch? Ha, eat your hearts out yo. My late grandmother said we were each like our own independant nation. Even though there were so many of us running around the yard on b-day parties, we had little or nothing in common other than our parents. Very few physical similarities - even in height, weight, complexion, everything lol. (At least, WE don't see any.) When I was a senior in high school, my yonger sister was a freshman. We hung out a lot, but nobody guessed we were brother and sister. They thought we were dating. People around town thought I was the father of my 3yo brother (v_v). And the misunderstandings get more and more hilarious.

Father- Don't remember much about him but I know what type of man he is from my mom and uncle's stories and I don't think I ever want to meet him. I also know he used to work at a world bank, and is a representative for our country in the Olympics.

Mom- She is 100% indonesian. God bless her, she is the sweetest and coolest mom i've ever known, Although she is very strict when it comes to school, and social stuff like hanging out with friends and her absolutely no girlfriend rule. She is very supportive.

Sister- She is 2 years older than me but we were still practically twins. There is no sibling rivalry between us and we don't usually argue, and we always look out for each other. She used to be all about parties and goin out wit friends, not caring at all about school, but recently she's put that aside and is taking her new school seriously. She goes to La Salle University.

Uncle- Although very very stubborn, he's lived with us since we moved to America and I consider him as my "father", even though I still call him uncle lol. He's very hardworking and even more strict than my mom, but extremely childish when he gets easily frustrated.

Grandma: Blasian lady. Actually She is referred to as Dougla, a term for ppl mixed w/ Black and Indian (from India). Too sweet and kind for her own good. Good lady and has a lot of common sense and patience when it comes to dealing w/ children, she is like the original Super Nanny. Can't cook for anythign, but she makes up for it through her TLC. She's my mum's mum. Through her black side she is also heavily mixed w/ Native American.

Grandpa: I always wonder how he and my grandma ever connected! Polar opposites!! He is Blasian also, part Chinese to be exact, and PROUD of it!!! He doesn't like when family members don't acknowledge it. he's my mum's dad.

Dad: very mixed guy, his makeup is black, east indian, native american and scandinavian. Very strict, and very health conscious to the point of hilarity. strict muslim guy, and is very disappointed in us if we don't cover to his expectations, or practice our Arabic and Surat like we should. But, he's also a funny guy and is fun to have a conversation with.

Mum: Sweet Sweet lady, until you push her to far, then she would turn into a new person. Would do anything for her family. She's very interested in her Asian heritage and acknowledges is, though she identifies more with being black.

Older Sis: We aren't that close but she's okay. she's married w/ 3 kids. Her kids are COOL! Not interested in Asian culture (or any other culture accept for bermudian black culture) at all! But, her kids are obsessed w/ their asian heritage, espacially the eldest one.

Oldest Bro: Twin to oldest sis, awesome, AWESOME DUDE! We get along great. Cool fact: His name is Jamel Malik like the kid from SlumDog Millionaire. Very interested in his background, and acknowledges them all, though he is more interested in our Scandinavian heritage than anything else.

2nd Older Bro: Laid back type of guy. It's almost like he is always naturally stoned. He's married to a Moroccan girl and they have 3 daughters. he is very interested in his Asian and Native American heritage.

3rd Older Bro: Cool guy, but very paranoid. Infact he'd freak out if he knew I was writing this about him right now, because he doesn't want his info on the internet...though I don't put his name. ¬¬ not interested in any type of heritage, not black, Asian or anything. none of it matters to him.

step- mum: Nice lady. She's from Indonesia, and she helped me learn a lot of the language....and she cooks great food!

Step-dad: Nice guy, from Morocco. We don't really talk that much but we're cool. Fact: He's related to the Moroccan Royal Family.

Little Sis: sweet girl. Half Indonesian, understands the language fluently but can't speak it fluently. we look just a like (ppl say). More alike than my full blooded sister. Actually we almost look like twins (so they say)...though she is much taller than me. and apparently (according to ppl again) we have very similar personalities.

Little bro: half Indonesian. Much more interested in Indonesian language and culture than little sis, and speaks it almost fluently. Nice kid, but since he's so young (8 yrs old) he is usually really annoying, when he shows me his whole Pokemon card collection, I feel like screaming.

Usually, it's only toward people who plan on staying more than a month. Native Chinese who see "off-colored" figures in China assume they are foreign and even more-so, tourist. But for these same head-turning people who are apart of their society -…
