The Place where Blasians Live...

I have a question for you all...

Do you choose one side of your family to identify with, or do you represent both sides equally?

Personally I try to ALWAYS acknowledge both sides of my heritage. I find it to be a dishonor to my mother if someone says "oh you just black". How do you guys feel about this subject?

I'm being as honest as I can be & I acknowledge all my sides. Black asian or Native or white. I'm proud to be what I am.

I celebrate Asian holidays and I celebrate Native American holidays
I celebrate all my Ethinicities with pride.

I loved being a mixed kid, I learn knew things about myself;
Some people say that I try to hard to be Asian xD
WTF?
really?
they are just jealous because I'm uber beautiful
but really, I hate when ppl say one drop of black blood makes you black.
Do you know what all my ancestors went through? so ppl have no right to say crap like that.
I'm black, white, native and Asian
I rep AZN,NATIVE,BLACK and white all day! so ppl need to stfu cause i dgaf! :] thats me

most of my family identify w/ black and don't know to much about the Asian (or any other) side. So, like Kawaii_baby, I have to educate myself about the Asian culures, and though I am happy to be mixed w/ Asian and identify with it as much as I can, I still feel like an outsider when it comes to the Asian community.

Usually, it's only toward people who plan on staying more than a month. Native Chinese who see "off-colored" figures in China assume they are foreign and even more-so, tourist. But for these same head-turning people who are apart of their society -…
